SCOUT CAMP
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
This is a legally binding agreement between you and Horizon Lab LLP (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the game Scout Camp (the “Game”).
BY ACCESSING, INSTALLING, OR CONTINUING TO PLAY THE GAME, YOU:
(A) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT;
(B) REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE EITHER (i) OF LEGAL AGE TO ENTER INTO A BINDING AGREEMENT OR (ii) YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 13 AND HAVE THE CONSENT AND ARE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN; AND
(C) ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DISCONTINUE USE AND DELETE THE GAME IMMEDIATELY.
1. LICENSE AND ACCESS
1.1 License Grant. The Game is licensed, not sold. Company grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
1.2 Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under the age of majority, you must have parental/guardian consent and supervision.
1.3 Restrictions. You shall not: copy, distribute, or modify the Game; reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code; use cheats, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software.
USER CONTENT, GAMEPLAY RECORDINGS AND CONDUCT
2.1 User Content
Any content, feedback, suggestions, communications, submissions, or other materials that you provide through the Game or our official websites, social media channels, or community platforms (“User Content”) may be used by Horizon Lab LLP.
You grant Horizon Lab LLP a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, perform, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit such User Content for any lawful purpose, including operating, improving, marketing, and promoting the Game.
2.2 Gameplay Recordings and Promotional Use
The Game is a multiplayer experience. Gameplay, player interactions, voice communications, usernames, avatars, characters, actions, statistics, chat content, screenshots, livestreams, recordings, and other activities occurring within or relating to the Game (collectively, “Gameplay Content”) may be viewed, recorded, captured, streamed, reproduced, or otherwise used by Horizon Lab LLP, its affiliates, partners, content creators, platform providers, and other players.
By accessing or using the Game, you acknowledge and agree that Horizon Lab LLP may record, capture, reproduce, modify, edit, publish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, broadcast, communicate, advertise, promote, and otherwise use any Gameplay Content for any lawful purpose, including without limitation marketing, advertising, promotional campaigns, social media content, websites, platform store pages, trailers, videos, livestreams, press materials, public relations, business presentations, and other commercial or non-commercial purposes.
You grant Horizon Lab LLP a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to use Gameplay Content in any media or format now known or later developed.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you waive and agree not to assert any right of approval, compensation, royalties, credit, attribution, publicity, privacy, or similar rights in connection with the
Company’s use of Gameplay Content.
You acknowledge and agree that no compensation, payment, royalties, or other consideration shall be owed to you for any use of Gameplay Content, whether such content is captured by Horizon Lab LLP, another player, a content creator, a platform provider, or any third party acting with the Company’s authorization.
If you do not wish your voice communications to be included in Gameplay Content, you should disable voice chat functionality while using the Game.
2.3 User Conduct
You agree not to submit, transmit, distribute, or engage in any unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, harmful, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate content or conduct while using the Game.
3. DIGITAL ITEMS AND PURCHASES
The Game may offer virtual currency or items (“Digital Items”). These are licensed, not owned, and have no real-world monetary value. All purchases are processed by third-party marketplaces (e.g., Meta, Steam). All sales are final and non-refundable by the Company.
4. UPDATES
The Company may from time to time develop and provide Game updates, which may include upgrades, bug fixes, patches, other error corrections, and/or new features. You agree that Company has no obligation to provide any Updates or to continue to provide or enable any particular features or functionality.
5. FREE CONTENT
Upon downloading the Game, users will have access to certain features of the Game (“Free Features”). Company may add, remove, modify or otherwise change the free features at any time with or without notice to you.
6. HEALTH AND SAFETY WARNINGS
- VR Safety: You are responsible for maintaining a safe physical environment. Horizon Lab LLP is not liable for any injury or property damage.
- Photosensitivity: The Game may contain flashing lights. If you have an epileptic condition, consult a doctor before playing. Stop immediately if you experience dizziness or discomfort.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
- Disclaimer: The Game is provided “AS IS” without warranties.
- Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the Game.
- Indemnification: You agree to hold Horizon Lab LLP harmless from any claims or legal fees arising from your breach of these Terms.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Class Action Waiver: All disputes must be litigated on an individual basis only.
- Time Limit: Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, it is permanently barred.
9. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- Export Control: You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a government embargo or on any prohibited party list.
- Modifications: We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
